SOS village is a welfare organization. It has brancehes all over the world. Its main objective to rehabilitate the children who are deprived of their parents due to any kind of calamity. Since 1975 it has stron setup in Pakistan. It has SOS villages, some SOS homes and someSOS youth institutions.
The government of the punjab had arranged a 7- day workshop in the honour of position holders of intermediate students of session 06-08 in MPDD. They also visited the SOS village there they saw this homage of orphan children and they gained a motivation from there.
When ESEF was established for new members a similar tour was arranged to help motivate and inpire its members. The aim was to develop an interaction between those children and the members so that they can help them to get absorbed in he society. For this we arranged a programme to visit the village last week on Friday.
Some of us who have not visited the village before were very much excited about the first official tour with refrence to ESEF. Everybody was willing to meet the children who were lacking the greatest blessing of Allah in this world which is their parents who are their guidance to the right path their guidance of living a happier life.
Everybody was trying to feel that sense of lonliness, in those children who were being brought up without the kindness of their mother and the love of their father.With these feelings we got arranged a pick-up and reached the village.After some negotiations we were in, one of the twenty houses there.We were shoched on seeing such a marvellous, peaceful and simple environment of the vilage. Inside the house we met some elders and youngers. The younones were Ameer hamza, Mubeen and Jibran, they were studying but when we entered inside Mubeen instantly pointed out Jawad that he had met him before. Such was their love and enthusiasm for meeting someone new. Consider yourself as being brought up in your brothers without any parents and without knowing someone new for years. All of us were spectacled on seeing their brilliance, confidence and intelligence. We all, kind of went into our past in which we were very shy and afraid of meeting people. But those kids remembered many of us which they have met already such was their desire of meeting new faces and remembring them.It was a heartrending scene but we all laughed and smiled at their little jokes by burrying the saddness deep inside.

Everybody was feeling an impulse of energy has been induced in him.We showed them kindness, love and sympathy so that they remember us and we remember them. We sowed a seed of sypathy in ouselves for them. We got motivation from them that we are the ones who are going to guide them, lead them and discvover for them higher aims and directions which they could folow to prosper and evolve as citizens of a great nation.
With these feelings we had some talk with them about their activities there and in school. We had some very memorable photos. Jibran made a promise that he would study hard to get an admission in NUST where "Aeroplanes" are made. This was our way of motivating those children to study as we all presented ourselves as engineers who made planes. Afterwards we all offered prayer in the mosque and spend some time with them in the grounds.The elder ones were shy a little bit. And one of them wanted assistance regarding his ICS.
Then it was time to go and everybody was trying to capture and borrow some time more to spend with them.
Well now we will always remember those faces which wanted to spend some happy time with us. Who wanted to spend time with people who cared for them and are just like brothers to them. We genuinely created a band of brothers there which fall together, rise together and will inshallah move on together.
